Bonjour et bienvenu sur le site de Nalacoon !

La chatterie Nalacoon est née de notre passion inconditionnelle pour les animaux et surtout des chats.

Depuis mon très jeune âge j ai toujours eu des animaux.

En 1990 j ai suivie mon cours de toilettage et j ai travaillée dans des grands centre canin.

Apres presque 8 ans de toilettage mon corp a commencer a me faire des signes comme des entorses cervical a répétition.

Donc en 1999 j ai commencée a travailler en animalerie.

Ma vie étais destiner a être avec les animaux !

J ai été gérante de magasin  et aussi gérante de la section d une des plus grosse animalerie au Quebec dans le département des poissons.

En 2005 j ai eu la chance d'ouvrir mon animalerie sur la rive sud de Montréal que j ai eu pendant 10 ans.

J ai travaillée chez Costco mais il me manquais quelque chose et j ai eu l opportunité d être représentante sur la route pour des produit d animaux.

Suite a la Covid mon poste a été abolie comme représentante.

J ai toujours eu des chats et surtout des Siamois, mais j avais toujours en tête d un jours d'avoir un Maine coon un jours et c est en 2019 que j ai commencé mon début d élevage.

Mon temps est entièrement consacré a nos chats et chatons

J ai suivie des formations sur l élevage, sur la nutrition ainsi avec un microbiologiste de Royal Canin.

Je suis aussi sur plusieurs site sur Facebook sur les maladies afin accroitre mes connaissances pour être a l affut si il y a un problème.

J ai la chance d avoir un merveilleux vétérinaire, qui est a l écoute et que je peux contacter en tout temps ou presque !

J ai adoptée des Maine coons du Québec et pour être certaine de ne pas avoir du consanguin et amélioré la race, j ai fait venir des  lignées de champion  de la Russie, de l'Italie et de la Hongrie.

Le bien-êtres de nos chats sont une priorité.

Nos installations dépasse les normes de la MAPAP comme la grandeur des enclos a l intérieur et a l extérieur etc...

Dans la chatterie et dans la maison ils ont une thermopompe pour contrôler la température parfaite pour eux, ainsi qu' une télévision, radio et autre.

Nos chatons sont nourris avec une nourriture haut gamme (Royal Canin)

Nos femelles accouche dans la pouponnière qui es juste a coté de notre chambre et avant la mise bas je dors avec elle au minimum 1 semaine pour m assuré que tout vas bien avec la maman et les bébés.

Donc les bébés sont sociabilisé et libre dans la maison après qu' ils aient eux leurs premier vaccins.

Rien n est négliger pour leurs bien-être !

Nous avons un permis de la MAPAQ, numéro de taxe et tout les chats sont enregistrés TICA.

J ai aussi suivie une formation avec un microbiologiste de Royal Canin en 2009, ainsi que plusieurs formation en nutrition animal.

PS Vous allez voir des photos de Siamois sur Méli Mélo car j ai eu 2 portées de siamois et j ai décidée d arrêter c était trop de gestions avec mes Maine Coons !

Hello and welcome to the Nalacoon website!

The Nalacoon cattery was born from our unconditional passion for animals and especially cats.

Since I was very young I have always had animals.

In 1990 I took my grooming course and worked in large dog centers.

After almost 8 years of grooming my body started to give me signs like repeated whiplash.

So in 1999 I started working in a pet store.

My life was destined to be with animals!

I was a store manager and also section manager of one of the largest pet stores in Quebec in the fish department.

In 2005 I had the chance to open my pet store on the south shore of Montreal which I had for 10 years.

I worked at Costco but something was missing and I had the opportunity to be a representative on the road for animal products.

Following Covid my position as representative was abolished.

I have always had cats and especially Siamese, but I always had in mind one day having a Maine coon one day and it was in 2019 that I started breeding.

My time is entirely devoted to our cats and kittens

I followed training on breeding, on nutrition and with a microbiologist from Royal Canin.

I am also on several sites on Facebook on diseases to increase my knowledge to be on the lookout if there is a problem.

I am lucky to have a wonderful veterinarian, who listens and whom I can contact at almost any time!

I adopted Maine coons from Quebec and to be sure not to have inbreds and to improve the breed, I brought in champion lines from Russia, Italy and Hungary.

The well-being of our cats is a priority.

Our facilities exceed MAPAP standards such as the size of the enclosures inside and outside etc...

In the cattery and in the house they have a heat pump to control the perfect temperature for them, as well as a television, radio and more.

Our kittens are fed with high-end food (Royal Canin)

Our females give birth in the nursery which is right next to our room and before giving birth I sleep with her for at least 1 week to make sure that everything is going well with the mother and the babies.

So babies are socialized and free in the house after they have their first vaccinations.

Nothing should be neglected for their well-being!

We have a MAPAQ permit, tax number and all cats are TICA registered.

I also followed training with a microbiologist from Royal Canin in 2009, as well as several training courses in animal nutrition.

PS You will see photos of Siamese on Méli Mélo because I had 2 litters of Siamese and I decided to stop it was too much management with my Maine Coons!
